VINYASA FLOW YOGA
Earthlete VINYASA FLOW has a level of playfulness, with the emphasis on the wide variety of movement the body is capable of. The focus is on honoring the body’s ability to grow through movement, whilst appropriately modifying for all levels. The intention is to encourage students to establish the connection between the body, breath, and mind.
Vinyasa is a style of yoga characterized by stringing postures together so that you move from one to another, seamlessly, using breath. Vinyasa classes offer a variety of postures and no two classes are ever alike. The variable nature of Vinyasa Yoga helps to develop a more balanced body as well as prevent repetitive motion injuries that can happen if you are always doing the same thing every day. The term Vinyasa is derived from nyasa, meaning “to place,” and vi, meaning “in a special way.” This indicates that we are not “throwing our bodies around” but are bringing consciousness to each movement in each moment.
Glenn Kjaer; I love to teach Yoga. Yoga has been life changing for me and it feels so good. I want to do my best for the people on this planet, so teaching Yoga is part of my contribution. I feel Yoga can greatly enhance one’s senses; physically, emotionally and spiritually. I intend for my students to bring fresh inspiration to their day.
